Join the Sisters as they explore the Elements – earth, air, fire and water – and variations like snow, rain, wind, rivers, sunshine and rainbows. Some of the selections will include “River Deep, Mountain High”, “Come in From the Rain”, “Rainbow Connection”, “Healing River”, “Aquarius” and “For the Beauty of the Earth”. Always in “T-R-O-U-B-L-E”, the chorus will round out the concert with their version of Katy Perry’s “Firework” and Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way”. It promises to be a fun evening!
So, gather up family and friends, shake off the post-Christmas blahs and join SisterSound for their Winter concert on Saturday, January 19, 2013, 7:00 pm, at Tates Creek Presbyterian Church, 3900 Rapid Run Drive (Man O’ War Blvd east of Tates Creek Road). Interested in singing with SisterSound? All you have to do is be a female, 18 years or older, can match pitch and enjoy singing with other women. Rehearsals for the Spring concert start on Sunday, January 27, 2013, 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the choir room at Centenary Methodist Church, 2800 Tates Creek Road, Lexington. Come and join in the fun!
